Inverness to Skye to the world!
EXCITED!!!!!!!!!
Almost time for my holidays! Going to the Isle of Skye, for a week, on the bikes! I've been researching Skye all week and think I have found some amazing places to go discover, from the Fairy Glen and Dinosaur footprints to Armadale Castle and the Cullin Hills :) I plan to see it all.
But the weekend is still to come too. We're going to Inverness first to visit Nic and 'Elf-Boy' :) Mel is coming too as we haver a performance in Aberdeen the next day...fun times! I'm slightly more nervous for this one as it will be predominantly more of a male audience than I'm used to, but they will hopefully be supportive and not heckling.
The fundraiser was a semi-success. We still had to pay money for the hall but we made about £400 for the funds box :) Another 2 to go before London, so will need to pull out all the stops. I probably need to think outside the box more for this, but right now my minds on other things :) Good things!!
I have a few applications I should probably get away today (at work!!) because the closing date is way sooner than I thought. I'm trying to get into Wildlife Protetcion Scotland or the National Heritage in Scotland. I need an environmental job to keep me focused and intouch with everything that going on around us. I still hold the futile belief that I need to help and if we all work together we can make a change. I'm child-like in many ways but I think they're the best ways.
Anyway, best go tie up all these loose ends at work so I can leave early and go get my mud guard!! Whoop Whoop - Holidays ahoy!
