Bye-Bye March
Well, I can't believe its the last day in March. Where the hell did the last three months go?! Like seriously, time is just flying by and I'm too busy to notice it at all. I always think that I have the time, when I really don't. I have SOOOO much homework due in the next two weeks. GARH! Its all sneaking up on me so fast. 4/5- H240 paper (changed the topic btw), 4/7- first round of costumes done, 4/12- H320 rough draft and final deadline for costumes, 4/14- Draping project must be completely done. Yeah, just a little busy. Just a little.
Work is going okay. I work this weekend, next weekend, and Easter weekend. Sad- almost got to go home for the bunny holiday this year. Expect not. But Mom said she's gonna send me a care package. But I need the money badly. Too badly. But I'm getting the hang of it- some stuff here and there- but yeah I've got it down. Lynette is impressed. I hate to say it, but so am I.
I spent $87 between JoAnn and Hobby Lobby yesterday. $87 I don't have to work with. I had to go get shit for my draping class (the fabric I need for my dress was $10/yd and $5/yd respectively.) and of course when I go shopping for fabric, I can't just go shopping for one or two things. I found MOOSE FABRIC. OH MY GOD IN HEAVEN AND HELL!! Its AMAZING. Its nothing but moose everwhere. And its w $9/yd. EEP!!!! So I splurged and bought only 3/4 yd of it. Now I gotta figure out what to do with it. . . . . I also bought more of the flowerly/paisley print I am using for one of the Minnetrista costumes and a pattern to make myself a summer dress (the fabric is just fabulous and I can't pass that up). I suppose I could have waited til the summer when A) I have the time to sew it, B) I have the machine at home to sew it, and C) I had the money to buy the damn thing. But hey, its JoAnn Fabrics. I should have made a non-crafty person come with me so I would have stayed on track (well, I still would have bought the damn moose fabric- no telling how long that's gonna last and if I'll ever get the chance to buy it again). Hobby Lobby went by pretty fast, I had to go get felt and beads for the stars. I'm not sure if I'll get a chance to start them this weekend since I plan on working on papers at work. Next week and next week at work- sweet. Just need to figure out size and how many. Oh Scorpio, you really are a bitch. :-)
So, yeah, by Monday I should be about $750 in debt- with no way to pay it off right away and in time to pay the next round of bills. I expect to be in debt for the next 6 months. How am I gonna eat, buy books and survive?! The bank is gonna kill me! And I've broken down and put up some books and some clothes on eBay- including my JR Prom dress. God, if that sells, I'm gonna cry my eyes out. I have 6 days on all but one of my auctions, so here's to hoping I get some bits and make atleast a little money.
