What a weekend!
I am so tired right now and there are about 500 gajillion (yes, gajillion) things that I could/should be doing right now. Meh. I'm going to write in here anyway.
I had a GREAT weekend. Unfortunately I didn't get to see a lot of people that I would have liked to have seen, but I have a feeling I might be home a little more often :) And I'll be home for good after April 29th. THATS WHEN I GRADUATE!! YAY!
So, Friday, I got home around dinnertime and hung out with my parents and my brother for a little until Nate got there. He came in and met everyone, and my parents really seem to like him. He's made quite an impression. We went to Gilligans to get a couple drinks and "break the ice" and my brother ended up joining us because apparently my parents were trying to kiss each other and he got scared. Haha. They both really seem to like each other, which is a good thing. Approvals left and right! Anyhow, Nate asked me to be his girlfriend on our way over to his friends house :) :) :) I'm a happy little boxwalker.
Saturday, I lounged around in the morning for a while, and then went out and did some shopping with my mom. We went to Borders, and I decided I wanted a Rachel Ray cookbook. I love watching what she makes, and I want to eat most of it, so I figured hey, why not. I also picked up a book called Practical English Usage to help with my ESL class (which starts Tuesday, EEK!). It offers explanations for almost any and every English grammatical point, so now I can really help the students when they have questions, instead of saying "Hey thats just how it is!" when they have questions.
And then... Nate came and picked me up around 7:00, and we were going to go to the Macaroni Grill because he's never been there. I should have known better....because everyone else had the same idea. I guess its always busy there...leh sigh. We went to Damons and only waited a couple minutes to be seated. And it was delish. And we shared dessert! Then we went over to his friends house and I watched them play Smackdown on xbox for a little (lol) and then we went to his place and hung out for a little while. I don't mean to gush, but he's so awesome haha. Our personalities compliment each other perfectly, and hes such a sweetie, he'll just randomly come up and kiss me on the cheek/ on the lips. I'm really not used to this...I'm trying to adjust!
And finally, today, he came and picked me up and we went to Neato. It was good...but I'm still a Qdoba fan at heart. After that we went and hung out for a little before he dropped me off at the bus station (cute cute cute!) and he just got his Wii this morning so I got to make a Mii on his Wii (haha) and we played the bowling game. I think I'm actually better at Wii bowling than I am at real bowling.
Gah tomorrow is going to be such a busy day! I have class, then work, then night class. Effin boo. I can't wait until May when I can take a little bit of a break from this madness.
