Yeah, today is International Talk Like a Pirate Day. I really can't keep it up for too long, but I do enthusiastically support those who can!
I'd just written an LJ-post and realized that it expressed my criticisms in no uncertain terms (now it's a private entry)... let's try that again, reminding myself that I'm not responsible for others' choices...
When I'm acting out of my own self-interests I always wave a red flag and let others know that they can feel free to give me a piece of their mind. I honestly care about my friend Trisha who (because she is human) is reluctant to trust me. At the same time, what I say and do is unrelated to my own self-interests because I sincerely care about her. I say no more... if I did, I'd have to +private this entry as well...
