I don't believe that power lies in politics which is exactly what spurs me to do something about it. For all the governments faults, we need an incredibly powerful government if it is to compete with the power of capital. With the right links to local society to this government would be able to serve the very people it represents. Everyone sees our world leaders as puppets, and it's easy to see why, but we need to get the right people in (perhaps not the most popular people, but certainly the most determined and capable) and then cut the strings. Empower them to represent us and to counter the corporations and undemocratic organisations like the WTO, IMF, World Bank who represent capital and only those who posses it ( ... )
