(no subject)
So okay this weekend has been very interesting.....
Vicky and I spent lots of time together on friday. She wasn't having a good day so she cam over at like 10 and we ate lots of junk food, watched some Ms. USA and cleaned my room. Until about 3:30 and then decided she shouldn't walk home and I wasn't going to walk her home...lol....so we decided we could share my bed. It was fine until I got a call at like 5 am and couldnt fall asleep after it so I got on the floor and fell right asleep. Then we went to breakfast the next morning and i drove home.
** We basically realized we are the same person experiencing the same things at the same time.....
So my whole family was flying into town for my grandpa's dedication ceremony saturday night. I hadn't seen some of my family members in like 3 years. Oh yea so Brandon High School dedicated their gym to my grandpa since he was the principal for 11 years and did so many good things for the school. It was crazinesssss. None of us thought it was going to be some big deal. But they had some school board members there, the orchestra, aquila, the dance squad, rotc, sga, so many principals from other schools and just so many people I had no clue even knew my grandpa. It was cool because so many people talked about my grandpa and were sharing stories with me and I never realized some of the things he did. Like for one, he was the dean at Hillsborough during the riots in the early 70's and my mom's family actually had to have a private deputy watch their house a night. But yea, so they ar making a plaque with a picture of him and putting it right outside the gym and the have signs saying "Welcome to Orlan H. Briant Gymnasium". It's pretty cool, actually. Like to think I can always come back and be like thats my grandpa's gym. haha yea so that might sound dorky, but you don't get a gym named after you everyday now do you?
so yea and school is almost over and I am so excited about this summer! I am traveling to so many places and I have so much I want to do! but yes so thats my update for now!
