What's your favorite thing about summer?

I'm looking for the kind of baking supply store that real bakers go to (ie, not King Arthur Flour). I'm specifically interested in paper pans, but I'm likely to be interested in other stuff in the future, too. Anyone have specific recommendations?

I need a recipe for them! I could just sub it in a regular recipe and pray, but if anyone has one they've tried and liked, I'd like to have it :)

(Also, interested in a spelt bread recipe, if anyone has a tried-and-true one handy. I also have rye flour, if that helps.)

Which RSS reader do you prefer? I'm running Firefox in Windows and am currently using Wizz, in which it's not as trivial as I'd like to either add feeds or organize them.

I've also tried Bloglines, and it's very easy to add to, but I somewhat prefer a local install to yet another web-based service to visit.

Better ideas?

A pie pumpkin, even! But no one in my house eats pumpkin pie. (I know, I know.) What should I make with it? I have a slight preference to avoid cooking and pureeing it and then using it to make baked goods.

Is there functional free (or shareware) virus software that I want? I've been using McAfee for a few years, but it is expensive and I am striving to be cheap. Thanks, internet!

Hey, when's your birthday?

As a result of the sad, sad death of my ice cream maker,I have some batches of ice cream that weren't properly churned and have thus frozen like solid little rocks. Can I save them?

Also, if you know what I should want as a replacement ice cream maker (given my sad, sad lack of Kitchenaid), I would love to hear about it.
