Happy Thanksgiving
This break was much needed even if I was doing a bunch of stuff during the break. Tuesday night we got out of dance team really early so Katie came over and we hung out for awhile. Then Wednesday I had to go to work, but it was fun cuz me and Amy were wrapping presents for the family we adopted for Christmas and she is hilarious so it was a good time. After work I went over to Katie's grandma's house to have dinner and play cards before I went to dance. Wednesday was also the first big snow of the year... I can't wait to go snowboarding!! Thursday morning I had to get up to go to the parade and our band only made it through like half of the parade cuz a bunch of people were dropping out and we had several people in the hospital. They ended up having a doctor look at me but I was allowed to go home, thank God. We went over to my grandparents house for Thanksgiving and ate a ton of food and played euchre. When I got home I packed and went over to Katie's house to spend the night. We didn't actually sleep though (well, I slept for an hour) because we went shopping at 4:15 the next morning. We went to Meijers, JC Penny, and Joann fabrics and then out to breakfast at Panera. Then we came back to my house and slept til about 1:00 when we went back to Joanns to get the rest of the fleece we needed. We went back to Katie's house and made our blankets (mine is pink w/ ballerina frogs on it and bright green on the other side and Katie's is snowmen). My friend Taryn, who I haven't seen in a really long time called me to go to the Piston's game so I went with her. We ended up locking her keys in the car so we had to have security bust into her car so we could actually get home later. The Piston's ended up going into 2 overtimes and then losing so we finally got home at like 1:30, so Taryn spent the night since she isn't supposed to drive past midnight. Saturday I slept in until 4:15 and then just staying in my pjs all day cuz I had nothing to do. Sunday Elizabeth came over and we did our physics homework and then rented Monster-In-Law and the Longest Yard and went to Taco Hut for dinner. Both movies were very good and what was even better is that they were both free cuz I had coupons and a free video in my account! But now we're back in school... fortunately it's not too long until Christmas break!
