I had my first 'incident' at William Carey today.
Two of my classmates, grown women mind you, were talking about how if we clone humans they won't have souls and the devil will reside in them. THEN they talked about how anyone who 'believes that evolution hoo-ha and doesn't believe that God created the universe in seven days is going straight to hell.'
I just can't understand people who think like that. It blows my mind. But I held my tongue and didn't say a single word. When someone is that narrow-minded and judgmental there is nothing you can say that will matter. I just sat a little slack-jawed and praised God that I was taught that faith and intelligence can go hand in hand.
Crazy stuff.
Also, I've been listening to Godsmack again for the first time in ages. I forgot how upbeat and cheerful their music can make me. How odd am I?
Oh! And I'm about to take my cute little nano to the gym at the School for Those Who Aren't the Spawn of Satan But Baptists and work out. Yeah for exercise!
