Here's the lo-down.
Well I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to get a teacher for drumming. Starting off by yourself just doesn't seem to be a good idea at the time, as too many bad habits can start to show. And then those can be hard to break out of in the future. Unfortunately Campbell's is full at the moment, there is 20 people on the waiting list, so I put my name down. But tomorrow after school I'm going to call Keyano and see if they do lesson's and inquire about that.
Also went down to Campbell's to get new heads (the things your stick hits) but unfortunately they didn't have much in. So I'm just going to wait until I go to Mother's Music in Edmonton/Calgary when I go down during convention. So yeah, there's the plan, I'm hoping to get a teacher real soon because I wanna start like MAD! But if worst comes to worst I'll just get Shea over and get him to show me the bare minimum.
Semester 2 has started, and thus far it doesn't seem bad at all.
Here's the rundown:
Block 1: Mr. Bowie - Social 20
So far so good, this class seems like it's going to be laid back and relaxed, something that I enjoy to the fullest extent. But we still learn stuff, so it's cool so far. Plus trevor, josh, paul, and christian are in the class. Which also makes up good stuff. Like saying testicles too loud in class. Hrm.
Block 2: Mr. Stelkich - C.A.L.M
Well this class seems like it could be the worst out of all my classes. Mind you it's not TOO bad as josh and trevor are in the class, but it's full of a lot of..eh people. But it's only every second day so that evens it out.
Block 3: Mrs. Wilson - Math 20P
This class has people I know, but don't hang out with. So it's not too too bad, there's people I can talk to if I'm bored, but it also lets me do my work which is incredibly important for math right now. All in all the block goes quickly too.
Block 4: Mrs. Collins - Chemistry 20
Well this class rounds out the day, with Brad, Anthony, Carmen, and Jill in the class it makes it pretty fun. Only downside is no discman. *tearz0r*.. But this class also goes by quick, and has no idiots in the class.
So all in all this semester looks to be GOOD
But I'm out for now, wow, long post. LATES PEOPLES!
