I'm not really a hipster-trendy-music person (the stuff I like is too out-there). But even I was really shook by his death. I think the music crossed lots of societal boundaries, and meant something to everyone [who wasn't an adult]. I mean, that's the thing, right? We all needed some music that was ...rebellious...
It's just my point of view, but I really feel like his music was not just theraputic to listen to, but it really was widely appealing to all teenagers.
Anyways...just musing. I still wish he hadn't died.
