Curriculum update: So I figured I should list out what the hell I'm doing in school that's causing me to be at school for 5-6 days a week when I only have class one day a week.
I'm the tutor for pharmacology, pathophysiology, med-surg, and critical care nursing. I'm also finishing up my TA run for critical care, and just began my TA run for health assessment and skills.
I'm also working at Nightingale for any random hours. And filling in random shifts at the FRC and gift shop.
Tuesdays: Class from 9-5pm.
Spare time: do my prep work for my kids first, then stare at my own school work. Maybe go to the gym? Or, more realistically, "nah, let's play Diablo 3 instead" or log onto Facebook and read through my newsfeed.
As much as I love teaching, and getting new batches of kids, I need a real job so I can stop running around so much.
Today's update: TA for the first skills lab and health assessment lab for the ABSN kids today. Signed off on one of my kids' skills as "CZ RN" Felt such a giddy rush when I did it hahah. It was the first time I signed off something as an RN. Felt so accomplished for something so small haha. Feel kinda dumb for feeling that way cos it's not even a real RN job, but it's a start right? hahahhaha
