Vegas trip II

Just got back from Las Vegas with my classmates. Was definitely a lot of fun again. We we went to the clubs for the first two nights, and then to see Zumanity the last night.

Clubbing is definitely not my thing haha. Don't think it'll ever be my thing or if I'll ever really be comfortable with it. But it's definitely an experience when I go - the alcohol buzz before the dance floor, the make up, and the dressing up. I feel like a different person when I do it, and it was nice to step out of the academic/nerd/slob shell for a few days.

My classmates who helped me with the make up were probably annoyed at the end cos I really couldn't do any of it myself, but I'm really happy that she was still willing to. It made me realize that I really should learn the basics of it cos I will have to figure it out eventually (interviews, other formal parties, outings, blah blah blahs).

Vegas also made me painfully aware that I really really really have to work out and lose weight. *sighs*

Overall though, the trip was very fun. I got free reel credits from Harrah's and won $20.50 from it. First time I've won that much money =D I tried to cash out the reel credits, but it wouldn't let me lol. I guess they figured out people tried to do that already. Also learned how to put on foundation by myself. I guess the blush, bronzer, eye things can come later. First time I've worn 3 inch wedges, and they're not comfortable at all. But it was kinda cool being that tall for a little while. Felt even more like a giant haha. First time I went to a show in Vegas, and buzzed. It was a really good show. Zumanity was a sensual version of Cirque du Soleil. Nude acrobats and things like that, but the movements and how controlled the performers are of their bodies was absolutely incredible. Made the exercise bio nerd in me all happy hahaha. Also the first time I went into a Coca Cola shop and the M&M shop. It was pretty neat inside. I wished we had longer to browse around though.

A lot of firsts again on this trip. Also learned a lot. Met a lot of nice people. Did a lot in three days. We were talking about making this an annual thing, and honestly, I wouldn't mind. Hopefully by next year, I'll be more competent at the make up thing. And have a job already so I can better pay for my expenses hahaha. I don't even wanna look at how much I put on my credit card so far.....
