We're doing Buddhism in my Myth class right now. And we just talked about the prophecy after the Buddha's birth and Asita's prophecy that Buddha would be super awesome and very important. My teacher is talking to the class and we have this exchange.
Mr Oliver: How does his father react to this?
Me: About as well as Sleeping Beauty's?
Mr. Oliver: Yes, actually. We dont even have time to talk about the part where everyone in the palace falls asleep.
Me: Really? That happens.
Mr. Oliver: Yes. On his awakening, Indra sends down a mist that puts everyone to sleep.
Me: Like Sleeping Beauty.
Mr. Oliver: Uh, yes.
I missed this class you guys. I get funny in this class. /o\ I may have compared Asvaghoda with Jafar. IT WAS A GOOD THING I SWEAR. THEY WERE LOOKING FOR A METAPHOR OKAY? And Vergil was insufficient. Jafar was better.
I seriously did miss it though. I dont know why but I get seriously obnoxious in this class. I enjoy it but really. Wow do I get biting.
