My wish is that life will never end, and that I will accomplish a lot of things. I realized this the other day when it was encredibly sunny here. Our first day of real sun, and no snow, and decent heat all year. How did I handle this day do you ask? In a very immature manner. I went to my first class, where he kept us only for half an hour. I then proceeded to lay outside the rest of the day. Around 1:30pm some of my friends decided to go to another friend's house to have a "lake day" and I tagged along. With these actions, I skipped a relativly important class. However, the day was worth it.
We spent the day on Little Sebago at a friend's lakehouse. Two friends took too kayakes to a nearby island while myself, jonny, and beth took the canoe out that way. We stealthily sneaked up to the kayakes and beth crawled out of the canoe, stole a kayake and took off. This resulted the other two trying to kayake back together, however they tipped. You're a true college student when the first words out of your mouth is "I saved the beer!" haha
After soaking up the sun, being dunked in the water, and having a few relaxing beers the girls decided to head back to SJC to change and buy some food. We bought $40 worth of food for our BBQ Feast. We went through the self-checkout and I emptied my wallet of as much change as possible. Probably a good five bucks in pennies, nickles, dimes, and quarters. We headed back to the house and had way too much food, and s'mores around the second best campfire I have ever made. I went kayaking at night and found it quite peaceful, and rather trippy to lean back and stare at the stars.
Monday made me realize how beautiful life is, I hope everyone else does too.
