Midterms and Father-Daughter Dance
hey people!
well, I haven't updated in a while because I've been bombarded with stress and studying for midterms, which were last week. thankfully, they're all done now (yay!) and we'll just have to wait for report cards to see how i did.
morality was pretty easy/stupid, american was easy (except she completely fucked up the test and we had to redo like 50 multiple choice... yeah - not cool), physics was actually kind of weird, like i have a really high average in the class but some of the questions were just odd, idk ... french was pretty killer, but i expected that it would be, english was alright, except the AP mult. choice were wayy hard, and then math was easy - pretty mixed results there but hopefully i'll end up with good grades!
so anyway - after the math exam thurs. morning we had the rest of the day off, which was nice. and then no school friday so its been an awesome 3-day weekend!
friday i met up with annie at the movie theater @ mckinley (although i drove around the entire mall like 2 times because i couldnt figure out where the movie theater actually was ...) haha we saw 'catch and release' with jennifer garner - very cute/chick flick but i liked it! saw her friend josh working on the way out then went into the mall itself - i bought those cute ballet-looking shoes at payless (and they were on sale - yay!) and then we went into AE where we saw like a billion things we wanted for spring! hehe
went back to annie's house and made some yummy pasta with sauce and about a tablespoon of milk left (lol) it was so good tho! then we watched the rerun of the grey's episode from thurs. night (amazing) and then i had to leave because my mom is a psycho and thought i wouldnt be able to handle driving in a bit of snow (even tho it was all PLOWED... geez)
annyyywho yesterday was some fun times - i got up (or should i say i was woken up by my insane little brother) and went to the music store where i bought a new mouthpiece for my baby! (aka my clarinet) ahh im so excited it sounds beautious! also went to the downtown library and got some new books ...
last night was some crazy fun times - got ready, then picked up jackie and my uncle and went to bacchus on chippewa - i'd never been there before but omgosh it was SO good - the food was amazing and the actual restaurant itself is so cool looking on the inside - you could almost pretend that you were actually in a big city ... not. lol after some yummy food we went to the father-daughter dance @ the armory - i was surprised it was actually a lot of fun! freshman year it kind of sucked but maybe that was because i was a freshman and afraid of what the older kids would think if we danced or w/e, but anyway no matter b/c this year was so much fun - everyone was dancing and having a really good time. there was a father-daughter "dance-off" for every grade and me and my dad were one of the last couple for the juniors! hehe fun times
after the dance we went with jackie and my uncle to spot for some coffee/dessert - it was really hilarious going there in like dresses hahaha ppl looked at us :P then i crashed at home i was so exhausted and my feet hurt!!! lol
so today i have dance (i think?) and then i've got some homework to do (yeah, how seriously evil is my school that i have hw after midterms?!) not fun ... the grease show is on tonight - yay, exciting! and i also tivo-ed the figure skating championships which i have to watch asap but no one tell me who won!
nothing too exciting coming up - back to evil school until spring break - ugh it seems so far away! hopefully i'll survive ... ;)
