Birthday (part deux)
so it's the end of another long weekend - isn't that a depressing thought? well still, i had an awesome time this weekend to make up for going back to school tomorrow!
Last night was my big partaay with the chicas - everyone was there minus carina cause she had to go to a family party which sucked but we still had a great time. went to empire for dinner and chatted about, well, basically everything haha annoying people in our class, guys (of course!), hot waiters/bus boys at the restaurant, figuring out how megan knew olivia (lol), calling becca on her "date" with henry (hahahahaha) - ooo good times!
then we came back to my house for cake, ice cream, and of course, presents!!! the chicas all chipped in together to buy me two amazing gifts because they ROCK and are the best friends in the whole world! they got me a juicy couture jacket in "careless" (it's like this super pretty pink color!) and a vera bradley tote! YAYYY!!! omgosh best gifts ever!!! :D
It was quite a fun night!
Today I woke up at 7:30 (about 5 hours of sleep?!) to go do community service for YLEC at the SPCA (wow that's a lot of abbreviations lol) but then found out (from danielle - thank goodness she called me) that it was cancelled b/c of the ice/bad driving street conditions etc... but then of course by that time there was no way i could fall back asleep so ya basically im still dead tired
at quarter to 1-ish i went and got morgina from her house and we headed out to timmy ho's in willyville to meet the chicas (minus kmt this time) for coffee & donuts to celebrate alyssa's 17th! (and she got her braces off!!!) she even had a lit candle in her muffin! (um ya, we had some issues with lighting the matches... haha)
then we all walked over to Tony Walker to do some shopping! i swear we must have spent like 2 hours in that store hahaha i tried on some jeans but didnt like them, morgan got tom... socks?! (wtf) lol and alyssa got another juicy jacket - i ended up talking to one of the sales girls for like a half hour about skin care products and bought some stuff of this brand that's supposed to be really good so we'll see how it works!
it was still only like 3 when we left there (what happened to tim wright?! AH!) so me and morgan made a stop at target on NF blvd and i bought some dvds ive been wanting and morgan got a cute shirt and i introduced her to the wonders of vitamin water except they didnt have any cold ones haha
so it was a pretty awesome day! sucks that this mini break is ending tho - it feels like i havent been to school in ages so i kno its gonna suck getting back into the swing of things - yuck! i miraculously (sp?) finished all of my hw in like an hour (whoa!) so now im just chillin waiting till the golden globes start at 8 - i'm recording all the shows premiering on mtv tonight too (yay for the hills!!!)
