sigh
I have to go take minutes at a meeting in an hour. I feel sort of bummed about work today. Sometimes I just don't feel like doing any work. Like yesterday, where I procrastinated for 8 hours and then went home. I feel as if I should be doing stuff, but..can't. I guess I'm not a work type of person, though I can work on craft stuff for hours. I look forward to the day when I can do craft stuff full time as a job. Fingers crossed that will be soon!
Today started off kind of good, but I'm feeling slightly wierd now. Nic is going to apply for this job in New York, so I went and looked up heaps of Visa options for me if I wanted to go with him. To put it simply, it would be next to impossible for me to get over there as well, unless I had employment first. Why is it so hard to immigrate to the US? It can't be that hard to immigrate to Australia, or maybe it is. I think I should just focus my sights on Europe, since I have a passport. But it would be so fun to live in New York. Nic and I could buy many hot pairs of sneakers and I would be able to see Casey and Kelly all the time!
Case I miss you! Talking on MSN makes me miss you heaps, because it's in real time!
I do hope I can save enough to go over there next year. I may have to get a lot of credit cards.
On Monday when I was heading to our S.Y.L.K practice I saw this thing in the alley and I went over to it and discovered that it was...A PASTEL PINK BARBIE CRUISE SHIP. I swooned and immediately took it for my very own! Now I am the owner of an amazing cruise ship which opens up to reveal dance platforms and little shelve things with drawings of seafood platters and cakes on them. It's perfect for my market stall!!
There will be no fondue night tonight. I'd rather have it next week, so Mish can attend, and so I have time to clean!
I'm really looking forward to the weekend.
