lunchtime please

yesterday we had an epic s.y.l.k practice. we made hot glitter prop hats for our backup dancers. we practiced our new song syk party. ezzy and neen went across the bridge to manly to get us sweetass clothes that these designers spunky brewster are lending us. they are quilted silk bomber jackets and hopefully some gold leotards.

i am still not quite over the horrors of saturday, but am trying.

i love what i got on our op shop road trip (despite the horrors):

- a round plastic thing with little heart shapes in it for putting cute trinkets
- some purple and white striped fabric
- a collection of gold frames
- an 80s knitting pattern
- a bag of barbie accessories for charm making
- a 90s kids handbag
- a badge with a closeup of bruce willis' face (for nic)
- a nautical oversized t-shirt
- an 80s oversized cardigan (so jenny kee!!)
- 2 silk scarves ( i gave one to ezzy)
- two ladylike blouses
- a stripy 80s cotton crop top
- 3 vintage purses
- a small vintage Oroton leather coin purse
- a neon pink bum bag (never used!)
- two pastel necklaces
- some bracelets and other assorted trinkets
- another bag of barbie accessories
- an 80s alarm clock compact
- a black belt with versace-like gold lions on it
- 2 vintage china ornaments, one is a pastel lamb pushing an alphabet block wheelbarrow, and the other is a gold deer money box.

i made a heap of necklaces yesterday, and finished off some brooches.

today i am wearing black footless tights, red "patent leather (more like pvc)" slip on shoes, a black high waisted mini skirt, the striped crop top (tucked in), an oversized 50s style chunky off white woolen cardigan with the sleeves rolled up, a red bead necklace, and a silk scarf turban.

i want to have a fondue night on wed. but i have to clean the house first. horror!
