Finally! I'm back at home. I did have a nice visit to Massachusetts but I am SO happy to be home. It's kinda sad that I missed having my computer for almost a week. But anyway. We left last Friday and spent the day with our cousins. They got a new dog. I guess that was kind of exciting. Saturday was Christmas Eve, of course, and we went to mass and we did the Christmas swap and other fun things. I ended up getting the gift I brought (a necklace and earrings), which I was pleased about. But for future reference, don't do a Yankee swap with 3 year-olds because no one wants to steal the gifts from them because they're too darn cute. So Sunday was the typical unrelaxing, busy Christmas day. Woke up, got some great presents, visited several different little cousins to see what Santa brought them. Then drove a little ways to my aunt's and had Christmas with my dad's side of the family. So we ate more good food, opened more presents, and then had to drive a long ways to bring my grandpa back to his house. We were only intending to stay there 2 days but it turned into a little more than 3, much to my displeasure. So we were pretty bored out of our minds for the past couple days and I was THRILLED to come home today. In addition to being glad to be home...Tom comes to visit tomorrow!!! The last almost two weeks since we've seen each other have been the longest ever. I thought that this Friday would never come. But he's coming...weather permitting. I should check that before I get my hopes wayyy too up. But I think I heard tomorrow is supposed to be nice so :) Ahh, I can't wait to see him. So I do have some cool Christmas gifts that I could be using to make tomorrow come faster....
