Well he left for Spain yesterday. And I'm being a huge baby about it.
I'm sorry to everyone who has and will hear me complain.
It's just the summer, right?

I finished Hard Boiled Wonderland. It was good. I'll be looking for more of Murakami's stuff. Also finished Salinger's Franny & Zooey, which I loved. I enjoy know-it-all, sarcastic lead characters, apparently. Excited to read about Seymour Glass next. Also, started re-reading Bastard Out of Carolina. We'll see if it's as good as I remember.

I forgot that cats, or any pet for that matter, are expensive little creatures. All of last week, Pickle had been very...lackluster. And then toward the end of the week she couldn't keep any food down. So I took her into the vet, and they didn't really find anything determinately wrong with her, after x-rays, laxatives, penicillin, a $300 bill, and stealing her trust for any human being in scrubs. Turns out she was able to make herself better over the long weekend, and she's back to her satanic self.

Dentist says I don't have any cavities, be proud. It appears even my shitty diet can't get through this enamel.

Tomorrow will be a good day: Chad and Dan come home, it's Evan and OC's birthday, and girl's night!!! Minus that whole eight hour shift in the middle there, should be a good time.

My mom broke up with Fahrid already. Didn't seem like she was that into him to begin with, so I'm glad for it. She also decided that she didn't want to deal with her frat boy neighbors and is looking for someone to take over her lease by the end of June. There goes my roof top pool!!! Let's take advantage for this month ladies. Though we may even be out a pool, but who are we kidding, we only care about the view and the sun.

So this turned out to be an actual update. Kind of. That's nice.
