My fantastic job!
While I was driving home from work the other day, I started to wonder how many people in this world can say that they absolutely love their job? I don't know exactly, but the one thing I do know is I am one of them! I LOVE my job!! I hate waking up early in the morning, and it takes me a while to get going, but once I get to the hospital, I am so incredibly excited to be there and can't wait to see who my patients are for the day! It's a wonderful feeling to like being at work! We had class time the other day, and I was the only one of the group that couldn't wait to get back to the floor. Everyone else was dragging their feet and not wanting to go, but I was almost running down the hall trying to get back faster! The babies are just so cute and I love being able to hold them, and just look at how cute they are. Most of the parents are awesome too and the sweetest people in the world. Everyone I work with is so nice too. It's just all fantastic!
Chicago is going pretty good too. I haven't really gotten to meet anyone which is a little sad. I'm always either at work or at home or doing errands. I've been told that everyone who is my age at work all work the night shift which I too will be doing in a few months. I know they all go out together, so hopefully they let me into their circle of friends and I can hang out with them. That would be awesome so I finally have people to call up and see if they want to go out! It's been kinda boring other than work, but it's still only been about a month and a half. I am so glad I moved here though. I can't wait to finally meet some people and get to go out a little more.
Basically...life is good! I miss my roomies from Lansing, and my friends from back home, but I look forward to the next time I get to see them! So adios to all from Chicago...come visit me soon!!
