CHICAGO has stolen my heart

OMG I am in LOVE LOVE LOVE with Chicago! I went down there Tuesday night with Leslie and Lizzy for a conference at Children's Memorial Hospital, and it was amazing! We drove down Tuesday night. We hit a white out at one point for about 10 miles where we couldn't even see the road. I'm not gonna lie, it was kinda scary driving through that. But we did it and got through safely. Yay.

We stayed in this little hotel that was cute, but kinda small and old. It was fun though. We woke up super early Wednesday morning to get to the conference. We took a cab there. The conference itself was pretty good and informative. I even got to talk to the recruiters and give them my resume which was good. I absolutely want to work at that hospital. But it sounds like it'll be very competitive to get a job there, so we'll have to see.

After the conference it was shopping time!!! We took the bus into downtown and had the best time ever. I went and saw Joey's sister Jessica who works at the steve madden store in the water tower which was nice. We hung out there for like an hour and I even bought shoes. I'm just waiting for them to be delivered because they didn't have my size in stock. Hopefully they come soon! We walked around more and just had a great time, then took the bus back to the hotel and got on the road.

We made quite a long dinner stop as we drove back and forth down the road in what felt like the ghetto. Leslie thought she was going to die from eating her chili dog from A&W/KFC. Then the McDonalds was playing bar/ghetto thug music. Crazy! It was fun though. We got back to EL around midnight and I came home and crashed.

It was an amazing trip and I had the best time ever!! I so badly want to move to Chicago and work there. It is a great city and I loved it there so much! Hopefully I get to go back really soon and sightsee some more. Amazing amazing time, and being with the "L" girls made it even better! So yay for wanting to move to chicago for sure now!

Not much else to tell, it was a fun trip and now back to reality with lots to do. So adios for now!
