Here we are. It's my birthday again. 31. That's a few years under the bridge. Not too much different one year apart. I guess we were into the settling in period back in Australia last year. We are pretty well settled at the moment. Of course there are plenty of changes for young Baby Nico.
One new change is that I got a new bike. I had a bit of money to put in, and Dad put in some more. So it was meant to be a pretty good bike. That didn't stop the pedal from falling off on the first day. So that was not a great start. Took it back to the shop and that's fixed. So that's good.
We are going to Bendigo this weekend, going to catch up with Joe, which should be good fun. Bit of long drive and it's going to end up costing a fair bit, but one has to live life. It's not like we're struggling for money. One thing that has changed on a major improvement is my financial situation. Previously it was "very bad". Now it is ok. I would like to get to the point where I have the following month's rent ready to go when rent is due. Which I have at the moment, but mainly because of my tax return.
And anyway it's about to be midnight. So I'll go to bed. Feeling a bit sick. Let's see how I go tomorrow, could be ripe for a day off work.
