(no subject)
Was planning on going to Bega this weekend, but I'm having second thoughts, strong ones, not to go. So I think we may pass on that. There's plenty to do in Canberra this weekend, particularly get our house ready for moving.
So we'll be moving in just over 2 weeks
As far as I can tell, there's no reason to fall in line
oh, and Miles Away are playing on Sunday, I thought that was during the week, that'll be good, I think I can still count the amount of shows I've been to on one hand, it hasn't been much of a year so far.
1. Fattura Del Morte (w/Jon from 4 Dead playing) + Pod People at The Basement. This was on my bucks day, I have very vague recollections of the whole evening
2. 4 Dead at Bar 32 (Walls and some other bands played this show), it was the first show with Julian on the drums. The sound was shit so I left straight after 4 Dead played.
3. Monarch, Unearthly Trance, Eagle Twin, Iron Lung, 4 Dead @ ANU. This show was pretty good, but 3 doom bands in a row was a bit much. Iron Lung were great.
4. House vs Hurricane, Your Demise @ Bar 32- I went to this last week, it wasn't really good at all.
So anyway, still pretty sick, but improving. I went to work today, it was very slow and boring. Not as boring as this thing I went to last night for my other job, this crappy training seminar, however I got paid and some free pizza, and I hadn't been to work that day so it was good to have some social interaction.

Sat April 2nd- (if in Canberra- Raiders vs Titans)
Sun April 3rd- Miles Away @ QBN w/Fires of Waco and Defeater
Sat April 9th- Break Even in a park in Sydney for free (w/ Carpathian) then to the Raiders, then go to Alison's house for a party
Wed April 13th- 4 Dead @ Bar 32 w/Robotosaurus
Thu April 14th (maybe) 4 Dead in Sydney
Friday April 15th- move into new house in Hackett
around then sometime, sell heaps of our crap and have a final inspection, hopefully get all the bond back...
Saturday April 30th (maybe)- Frenzal Rhomb @ Wollongong Uni
24th May- Propagandhi @ ANU
24-27th June- Australian Footbag Championships
18th July (maybe)- Rise Against, Sick of It All, Break Even
28th July- fly from Gold Coast to Malaysia
6th August- fly from Malaysia to India
late September- fly from Vietnam-KL-Melbourne
mid October- fly to Chile
November 12th- wedding in Chile
after that, find a job and place to live, carry on...
