first day on the phones last night.
Sold 2 x Daily Telegraph 7 day subscriptions and 1 x Sunday Telegraph subscription.
Probably an easier product to sell than dodgy holidays, but because of this you need a lot more sales to reach targets. Everyone that just started made sales last night, which is pretty cool. They are all pretty decent guys so far.
But yeah, telemarketing is pretty gay. People need to man up and tell you to just fuck off. This is basically my aim through telemarketing
a) to be told to "just fuck off, mate"
b) to be told "mate, you're scum"
and then my telemarketing life will be complete.
Don't think we get paid til next week, which is a bit sad. I have no money.
So hopefully today, talking to people in NSW, I can get a conversation about Origin going (it's on tonight).
