listening to the funeral thirst demo
it's pretty damn good. I dig it. Big Bleeding Through inluence, but hey...I like bleeding through. "Funeral Thirst" is not much of a name....though neither was "Her Bleeding Eyes". But hey....it's good.
Was talking to Gabe the other night about putting on a tour at the end of the year, most likely with his band Elysian and Funeral Thirst. I think this might be an option for things to do once I finish uni. Put on tours, and just go along for the ride. Gabe also said they me keen for our middle of the desert festival thing...sweet!
So Bega is going pretty decent. I stayed up to watch the Australia v Brazil match. I thought it was a shitty match and I really don't think Brazil will win the world cup this year. Australia kept up for the first half, but their defence was weak in the second half (esp the second goal- there were no defenders inside the penalty box). I reckon Australia will probably beat Croatia, they didn't play very well against Japan. Both teams lack aim with their shooting.
We haven't done a lot down here...played Mario Kart, Sam got some new tyres for her car...we're gonna do something today, we haven't really decided what. We'll see what happens.
