Life and everything
Hmmm...have been either really busy or really lazy, so updates have been sparce. I had my second battle against the great chemistry kaiser....yes I personify my classes...shuuuuut up. Well, this battle went a lot better than I thought. I think the tides are finally turning. I'm finally getting the material...yay for dan.
Friday's bio lab, I got to play with fruit flys (Drosophila melanogaster), for this mendelian genetics experiment...with punnit squares and all that quality fun. To work with the flys, you had to knock them out with this flynap chemical. It was quite hilarious. You have to pour the sleeping flys under a microscope and seperate the males and females. Hahaha, you really had to bee there....Get it! Harharhar...Bee! It's also an insect!!!
Midterms came in the other day. A in Western Civilization, A- in Calculus, A- in Biology, and a C in chemistry...Get it! C for chemistry!!!...gah....and i'll throw in another gah for good measure...I can bump that grade up...it's all part of ***Operation Squeezeby*** (# 4332523-BD3).
My super awesome musical side project (j.a.m) is nearing completion...actually, I have no idea. But we keep on churning out hits, like a factory. This music might just change your life. Further details, later this month...
Tonight is halloween. I wouldn't know though, I'm in my dorm doing a chemistry lab report, an excell lab, studing for an exam, and writing this. I only really dressed up this halloween during shelby's party...I feel so, un fun...oh well
I spoke with my advisor today regarding my classes. I told him that I was interested in the field of paleontology, and he was all surprised, because the majority of the bio majors are pre-med or something useful like that. He said that I should talk to the two professors that dabble/delve in paleontology on campus, a paleobotonist and a vertabrate paleontologist. Yay! This has been my dream since kindergarden...to travel the world and dig up dead things...for a living!!! This put me in a good mood.
In other news, day-light savings time is messing with my internal clock. I've been all tired today, i'm confused, and I can't concentrate on anything...this last sentence was a feat itself...
