And Pushing Daisies makes it past the two episode test...

I just stuck it all under here, because I don't know what people consider spoilery or not.

I am still really enjoying this show. It's really strange, and it got stranger with the Olive musical number tonight. LOL But I love how they can just kind of do anything and it's acceptable, because this world is in no way real. So it's rather refreshing in that way.

Dudes in crash test dummy masks are rather creepy, though. And I thought the case was kind of slow moving tonight, though I wasn't necessarily bored. It just wasn't all that interesting.

If we had cars that ran on dandelions, though, my backyard would be full of fuel in the summertimes. lol

I love Ned and Chuck, and how adorable they are with each other. However, I do think Chuck is justified in saying they need to get to know each other better, and I think by the end of the episode Ned realized it, too.

Chuck's situation kind of makes me think, because she's a homebody attending her family her whole life, and then when she finally decides to go out and do something on her own, she gets murdered.

Sadly, that sounds like something that could happen to me. Disturbing.

What is with Olive's hair being long last week and short this week, and no one said anything about it?

Ned is so adorable, I just want to hug him.

Emerson was hilarious with his knitting! LOL I did not see a guy like him being crafty, but thank God he had that knitting needle on him or they'd have never gotten out of those body bags. hee

I can't believe Ned and Chuck were already kissing, albeit through plastic. ABC, you know how to jump the gun, yes, you do.

Switching gears, it seems people are already taking 'ship sides. On this end, you have Ned/Chuck, whom I totally support, even given their impossible complications. Hey, Wolvie/Rogue can't touch either.

Then you have Ned/Olive.

I don't see this, basically because there's absolutely no interest on Ned's part. At all. Ever.

I was wondering what was primarily bugging me about Olive being all over Ned, and I think I figured it out. I don't mean to be ageist here or anything, but she's older than him. I mean, obviously older. I did some IMDb work, and Kristin Chenoweth is 39, while Lee Pace is only 28. And I'm sorry, but it shows. It's kind of distracting, too, at least to me.

That's not Kristin's fault, and I have nothing against her (except her slightly grating voice, which has bugged me long before now). But I have to wonder why, since both the leads are supposed to be in their late 20s (Lee is, and Anna is three years older, which isn't old enough to show), they cast someone as the other point in the triangle that was so much older.

I mean, it could be because Kristin knows Barry Sonnenfeld from prior work, but that's still not a very good excuse.

Or maybe I'm just making an issue where there isn't one, because it's just something that's bugging me. Still.

I also didn't know that Anna Friel was David Thewlis' 'partner' and they have a kid together. Huh. I knew she was British, though, so I had that going for me.

I need to go to bed.
