She explains everything better, but the gist is, Allison Mack and Kristin Kreuk are trying to raise money for a 5 year old little boy named Parker, who is dying of cancer. He has a single mother and an older brother, and they're trying to give them a nice Christmas, as it looks like this will be Parker's last. :(
As many of you know, children suffering this awful disease are near and dear to my heart, and I can tell you from personal experience that a) this is one of the most horrible things anyone can ever go through, and b) that the kindness of strangers at a time like this means everything.
So please click that link and read that post or go to Everyday Superheroes.org for more information, and try to help out in whatever way you can. Money, no money, you can make a difference in this little boy's life. You don't have to be part of Smallville fandom to help out, this is about giving and helping someone in need for Christmas, and giving hope to a family that needs it.
