Urgent Prayer Request
Some of you may remember that my Uncle Davis, my mom's eldest brother, had a heart attack earlier this year. They put in a couple of stents, but they also discovered a large blockage in his neck. They put off surgery because they didn't feel his heart was strong enough, and they were finally going to do the surgery Tuesday morning.
They tried to put him under anesthesia, and he flatlined. They got him back, but the sad thing is when he woke up, he thought it was all over, and they had to tell him what happened.
This is a really sucky, sticky situation, and no one seems to be sure how to get him out of it alive. They're supposed to check to see if there are anymore arteries blocked in his heart this morning, and he's told them that he wants to go ahead with the surgery on his neck, and whatever happens, happens.
I'm afraid of what's going to happen, given the circumstances.
So I would really appreciate it if you could pray for him, and that things turn out all right. It would be nice for him to have a successful surgery, and get this whole scary thing out of the way. The situation is pretty dire, so we could use all the prayers we can get him.
Of course, I'll let y'all know how it goes. I just hope there's a good call and not a bad one, that would be too much.
