This article was written by a friend of mine from high school. First off I am way proud of her getting published in the NY Times!! And secondly, I want to thank her. I hadn't realized it until just now, but middle/high school would probably have been way different for me if I hadn't had her around. She has always handled being taller with grace and has had amazing self confidence in herself-a good role model. I think that without realizing it she helped me deal with being tall.
Plus I always had some one else to complain about finding clothes or shoes with.
