US Open
I really, really, really hope the US Open is over now, because quite frankly it's driving me mad. Whoever thought it was a good idea to hold the US Open across the street from UCSD on the same week as all the undergraduates moving out of on-campus housing was quite clearly mad. We bent over backwards for them, even moving undergrad graduation to the next week, but it hasn't been easy even so. For the past week we've had signs everywhere telling us where we can't park and where we can't go, and a limo drop off point at the athletics center. And the temptation to go prank the US Open must have been overwhelming.
Maybe life will go back to normal. Maybe people will be able to get parking spaces again. Oh wait, this is UCSD. Nobody gets parking spaces.
