Update from Tall Tree (and the spiffiest airport ever)
So, yes. I've survived the last three weeks of insanity and am about to get on a plane to go home so that I can pack to get on another plane to go to Europe.
I have a lot to do before we can get out the door tomorrow, but so far so good. I'm feeling pretty good about my lists and my plans. Plus, emluv posted her wonderful story -- A Wing and a Prayer today, and I know she made changes (!) -- so I have something amazing and exciting to look forward to when I get through my remaining work deliverables. (I also highly recommend it. Please go read it -- I think it's surprising and amazing, and I haven't even seen it since she made her final improvements.)
So, yes. I'm in a very good mood right now. I'm almost on vacation, I have a big cup of Peet's, I'm sitting comfortably in the brand-new spiffy terminal at SJC, and life is good. (I'm also in a very good mood because my amazing boss is buying me an iPad. I should be able to play with new technology, she said, which means that I will have a new toy to look forward to when we get back. I love my job.)
I'll have access to email while I'm gone, but not much. If you need me, though, don't hesitate to email.
