1. I would LOVE to get in on the grilling action. For all the cooking I do, I'm not much of a griller, but it sounds delicious. Keep me in the loop on that.
2. I think sometimes that you keep me sane, so if the need ever arises, I'd be more than willing to pass that favour back.
3. TONS of people are getting married. Or having babies. That's what happens when you hit your mid-twenties I suppose. Just think, in another 10 years, we'll have tons of friends getting divorced.... especially once you break Jon and I up, since we're apparetly trend-setters.
4. You still owe me Holly's address. I've been writing her letters and putting them in a pile.
1. Pick a day you and Jon are available. We'll grill. I don't blame you for not being much of a griller. I'm pretty sure fire is a man thing. ;-)
2. Sanity is sort of my specialty. Is it weird that even that worries me? Rationality will be the death of me, I swear.
3. I know. It's weird. The kids thing scares me. But I'd really like to be a dad one day. I think I'd make a great one. Not any time soon, mind you, but down the road? I'll be all about it.
4. Really? that's neat! I want letters. Do you remember when we used to write notes back and forth in school all the time? Yeah, Dana wasn't thrilled about that. Haha.
1. Any day after work, since work is half-way to your house anyway. And you usually get out of work before we do, so let me know if there's a day as early as the week after next (we'll be in Mexico from the 17th to 20th, but off work the 21st).
2. I don't think it's weird to be worried about things. Everyone has a few, I'd say, at least.
3. A while ago, I would have said I really wanted children. Now, I'm only so-so. Maybe because I'm getting a ton of pressure from people to start popping them out, and I'm pretty much terrified of that right now. Hopefully I'll grow out of that, because I know Jon wants kids.
4. I can write you letters too, if you want. I'll mail them to your house. But you have to write back. And yes, in my red coat, I have notes from HS still, and I'm sure a box of them in my parent's house.
1. Wait, so you aren't free at all until the week after next?
2. Yeah, you're probably right. It's just hard dealing with the fact that all the men on my dads side of the family in the last two generations have had crushing mental breakdowns. Hooray.
3. I'm sure that our viewpoints on this have to differ at this point, because we're at different stages in our lives. For me, it's a nice "someday" to think about. For you, it's a reality, now. That's gotta be tough.
4. I would totally write you back. I love letters.
1. I have.... let's see... the 14th or the 15th free. That's seriously it until the 21st. Tonight we're going to look into getting a cat, Friday through SUnday we have people over. Then we leave the 17th.
2. I think some of it has to do with their lifestyle. The whole nature versus nurture concept. I mean, pretty much everyone in my family has been diagnosed with depression, and so far I've avoided it (mainly by flat out refusal).
3. I like to think it's still a "someday" for me, but the fact that I'm at least married and in what some would consider a stable relationship implies that I'm more apt to have it be sooner rather than later. But I'm not exactly, by any means, ready.
