I woke up at a decent time and tried to wake Josh up. I figured he would be more excited about picking up his car but he was just completely tired and in a deep sleep.
I got some texts about taking care of something for work and started working on a small subtask to the point of not paying attention to the time. Josh woke up at about the time we wanted to leave and we both rushed to get ready to head to the dealer.
When we got there, we were still waiting on the car to arrive but luckily we started all of the paperwork and in the middle of all of it the car has arrived. We then played the waiting game again when they were so backed up with all of the customers needing service that they still had not had the chance to inspect the car and do the last minute cleanings/adjustments before it could be driven off (I honestly thought this consisted of slapping plates on it and calling it a day but I guess there is a process).
I figured it would take awhile so I brought my laptop and used their free wifi. While getting some stuff done, this guy and his wife were being absolutely ridiculous. They were upset that the APR was 3% instead of the advertised 0% for another vehicle under specific terms and wanted to get 2% or better. He was speaking rather loudly about what he was demanding and the employee was more than accommodating. It just surprises me how entitled some people feel. The bank decides the APR based on how financially sound you look as a person. You essentially are spending money that's not yours so that you can enjoy something before you can afford it. If you're upset at anyone, be upset that you didn't save up to afford the car you wanted. Not at a salesperson who is just doing their job to relay information and try to make you happy. Normally I don't let others get to me but this guy was just being an ass about it. He had his kids there and his wife and constantly referenced them when he was trying to haggle on the APR. Some role model by belittling a sales person at a dealership
Anyways, once everything was ready, we got in the car and drove off to the nearest Mobile gas station to use the gas card we were given to fill up the tank.
We went home after getting something small to eat and were welcomed by a piece of mail we had been waiting for all week. Josh had plans with his best friend to do some wedding related tasks and I stayed at home to take care of Snails & Molly and get some things done around the house. After Josh came home, we went to my parent's house to talk with my mom and then went out to dinner. Funny enough, we ran into my aunt and her family at the steakhouse we decided to have dinner at. We ate our filling dinner and headed home.
After taking care of Snails & Molly, we watched 'The Watch' and then called it a night.
It's really amazing how sometimes we get so anxious when waiting for something to happen/arrive and then when it does, everything else happens/arrives at the same time. It's as if some things were just supposed to happen together.

I wasn't a big fan of this key. It was just so bulky with only that many buttons.
