Good news at last
Well this weekend was interesting. I survived the family invasion with only a few burses. It's nice to have the house quiet and back to normal or at least as close to normal as we can get. It will be even better when everyone goes to Bonnaroo this weekend and the house is super quiet. I really miss it just being me and Adrian.
Anyhoo on to the good news. I just got back from the vet and getting Dr. Thompson to look at Gordon's leg. He told me that it was a Patella Luxation but the good news is that he can do the surgery. He said that Gordon did this when he was a pup but the problem did not get severe until recently when he must have jumped or played on it to hard. That made this overbearing mom happy to hear. I was so relived that we did not have to go to the orthopedic surgeon. They are good at what they do but they cost so much money. We are only look at paying $1200.00 on the high end with having T do the surgery. I am so luck to have worked at a vet and still have a good relationship with the people there. They really went to bat for me with helping me with the price of the surgery. Thanks guys I love you!!!!!!
So this Tuesday I have a job interview and I hope that goes well. Gordon will be in surgery this Thursday so if everyone would just have him in their thoughts that would be nice. Oh yea and we are getting the water line replaced this Saturday. Yea this is shaping up to be a good week.
