dylan made me a new icon
well, it's monday of spring break and i have a whole week stretched ahead of me in which i plan to get a lot of things done.
this weekend was fun, aside from me having to work friday, saturday, and sunday, but i'm really not minding perkin's at all. the other times when i wasn't at work were spent with the boy being lazy and fucked up on his perscription hydrocodone for his fucked up shoulder, and on saturday, we went to the pet store with the idea of checking out how much it would cost to get us set up with a rat and supplies. instead, we got sidetracked by a chinchilla, and we decided to get one. the pet store guy said he's breeding some right now, and they should have more in in about a month. so we will be adding a member to our little psuedo-family!
this week i'm seriously going to clean and finish unpacking everything that's left over from the move. i've also been feeling quite inspired lately, and i've been getting some clothing ideas that i want to make. i've also been doing a lot more drawing and other artsy shit, and i really enjoy feeling productive. i'm looking forward to rummage sale season so we can get some stuff to fuel our creativity/decorate our house... i'm needing some antiques, namely an armchair for the corner of our living room.
this friday, of course, is girls' night, and i am looking forward to that, too. that'll definitely be my motivation to get this place cleaned up.
