He says he's going to turn into a demon. She doesn't believe it, she can't really, she can't see him become something they hunt.

He's just Dean to her, always has been and he always would be and for some reason she still had hope that Sam would save him. She certainly couldn't -- he'd told her once during one of their famous fights, right in the middle of the diner and everything. Privacy was past them. No one cared anyway, in those one stop side of the road middle of nowhere diners, no one but them.

Those diners made up half the time they spent together, a series of intersecting circles that took them as far away from each other as possible and then put them right back together again.

Like it was fate or something.

She didn't believe in that bullshit though, if she did she'd have to believe that it was his fate to sell his soul. Not just some jackass decision he made. She'd hit him so hard when he asked her to kill him she swore she saw tears in his eyes.

But she wouldn't know. Her eyes were too full of tears themselves.
