"Do you know if there is still someone around who can do that? If I can find someone who can do it, getting the metal shouldn't be a problem." Yes, it might be gross, especially if he had to resort to taking apart stuff in one of the bathrooms to get it, but he was up for the challenge. Nothing was too gross after fighting a Marlboro.
Zack was enticed by the idea of getting a hold of a cell phone, he had to admit, and so he followed along quickly. He'd noticed the way Cloud was taking the lead, and while it was an odd change from what he was used to, Zack knew that it made sense when his friend was the one with the weapon in hand. Besides, it was good to see that the younger man was comfortable with his own abilities now, to the point that he could take charge without a problem.
He hadn't realized it would be so close, either. He had a few more questions he needed to set out for the two (such as who the heck Nanaki was and what kind of brainwashing Yuffie meant), but it was probably best if he waited until they were searching for their files. That would presumably take some time, so he'd have a spare moment to ask.
Letting Cloud and Yuffie step through, Zack took up the rear and stepped through the door last.
