Where it was time to go, Yuffie wasn't exactly sure.
The weather warned against another attempt on the outside. Disappointing, but there'd always be another chance in the future; a chance that didn't involve hypothermia, pneumonia, and-or drowning in flood water. Yuffie was no coward, no way, but she could appreciate prudence.

Aigis knew this hallway well. This was where she had met Junpei last night, and also Evangeline. It was a meeting she would rather forget, but also she was thankful for it. At least now she knew to watch out for Junpei, as well as to keep an eye on Evangeline. And afterward, Junpei had assured her he was fine. Then he had given her the baseball bat.
Stopping for a moment, Aigis hefted the thing in one hand, her other hand clutching her flashlight. The weight distribution was so odd. She tried to swing the thing with one hand and nearly fell over trying to keep up with the weight, dropping her flashlight in the process.
For a moment, the light blinked out and Aigis felt a frisson of panic. Reaching down, she retrieve the flashlight and was relieved when it beamed back at her again. She was going to have to be more careful, but it didn't help that this model's hands liked to dampen when she was trying to observe this place at night.

Yukari, too, knew this hallway well; very well. She probably didn't even need her flashlight anymore to go down the route, but it didn't keep her from not using it. Relatively safe hall or not, she preferred to know where she was walking.
She began strolling by when she noticed another girl with a bat, dropping her flashlight. Yukari's own beamed in her direction briefly, but when recognition flashed as it did, she stopped in her tracks.
"... Wait a minute," Yukari murmured, and slowly, she began to approach the girl. "Aigis?"

Shifting the bow by some over her shoulder, Yukari blinked at her normally far more robotic friend, eying her up and down. "Wow," she said aloud-- completely unintentionally, and when Yukari realized she had slipped with her thoughts, held up a hand apologetically. "I mean-- um, sorry. You just look... different."
A pause. "You've been feeling okay with that, right?" Junpei had mentioned earlier Aigis had been a little weirded out by the ordeal; hopefully her fellow female would be able to aid a little in making it less uncomfortable. "Anyway, I don't mind at all. If anything, neither of us should be walking around on our own. Good to see you've got something to fend for yourself with, though."

Aigis reached up with one hand, gently touching her ear. It was an odd appendage, so soft and sensitive. "The transition has been an... interesting experience. I have lost many of my basic facilities, including my data scanner and cooling jets. I am doing my best to make up for these handicaps."
The android smiled again when Yukari agreed to let her join her for the night. Perhaps tonight she would be given a chance to show her usefulness again. "Ah, this." Aigis looked down at the bat, still hanging a bit awkwardly from her hand. "Junpei-san gave it to me last night. I find it to be a bit unwieldy, but I will manage in time."
She looked back up and nodded towards Yukari's bow. "I see that you are prepared as well. I'm relieved you have a weapon you are familiar with."

"I'd hate to embarrass you about it or anything," she added a bit sheepishly, watching as Aigis reached up to her ear, rather than something mechanical. In an attempt to lighten the mood, Yukari grinned. "But hey, it doesn't look bad! I'll help you out if you need it, too-- I don't think either of the guys would be able to understand a girl's needs, y'know?"
When it was mentioned, she glanced at her bow. "You and me both. I have to admit, I got pretty lucky in getting this. I haven't had to use it much yet, and maybe you won't have to use your bat a lot, either. The monsters here aren't anything you want to come across often." Or at all.

Aigis gave her friend a slight smile, though she remained perplexed. What she did know was Yukari was offering her assistance, and Aigis wouldn't mind having someone help her if this body were to malfunction. "I understand. I will be sure to call on you when the time arises."
"I'm glad to know you have been out of danger, Yukari-san," Aigis said. She nodded. "I have yet to run into any of the monsters here, but it would be wise to stay out of their range if possible."
She glanced about the hall, noticing a bit more movement from the other patients since their talk had begun. "Did you have any particular plans in mind for tonight, Yukari-san?"

When Aigis turned her eyes down the hall, Yukari did as well before looking back at her. "Not quite," she answered honestly, although she hated to admit it. "But I don't really wanna sit around and keep doing nothing. It's not gonna help us solve anything if I do. Maybe we'll find someone along the way."

"Agreed. Like Tartarus, it is no use standing idle. We must press onward." It didn't both Aigis terribly that her friend didn't have an objective for tonight. Her own plan--find Martin Landel--wasn't much of a plan as a distant goal. She didn't even know where to start her search. At least her friends would have a better grasp on the institute than she had. She could always rely on them if she found herself at loose ends.
"I assume you know your way around this place better than I, Yukari-san. Therefore, I would be happy to follow you wherever you wish to go for tonight."

"A little too well for my liking," Yukari responded with a sigh. She didn't even need her maps anymore to tell where she was more or less going, although she didn't like how accustomed she was getting to things. "Anyway, let's go."
She turned to walk down the hall, waving for Aigis to come follow.
