Night 47: Cafeteria

That had been deceptively easy; maybe things were actually going to run in their favour tonight-
- and maybe Lugnut was going to write a note in anything but screaming block capitals. Wasn't gonna happen. Still, a little optimism never killed anyone, just so long as it was tempered by caution.
The cafeteria was empty, so far as Depth Charge could see, but even after giving the room a thorough sweep with his flashlight he didn't loosen his grip on the crowbar. With dark shapes of the tables and chairs set in neat, tidy rows acting as perfect hiding places for any resident monsters he wasn't about to let his guard down in a hurry.
"To the kitchen, right?"
