Once the door was closed behind them, Edgeworth put the flashlight on his desk, leaving it on in order to illuminate the room. "Take a seat," he said to Phoenix, but remained standing himself, a mix of emotions flashing in his eyes.
"Wright. You can't lose it out there, no matter what you're faced with. If you do, that's letting Landel win," he began, pacing back and forth in the space between the two beds as he spoke.
"None of us knows why we're here, none of us knows how we got here. I've had things done to me that no one should go through, and your mentor had her memory wiped. It's clear that they've no intentions of letting any of us actually leave this place with their own memories intact. But I refuse to be a pawn in this chess game. And I've no intention of letting this man further break me...or anyone else."
He paused, looking straight at Phoenix, but his tone became softer as he spoke again. "Tell me everything that happened in that visitor's room."
