She could see down the hallway and slightly into the Sun Room from where she was standing, and she lowered her flashlight, not wanting whatever it was that

Falis silently moved through the hallways, no light leading her. She didn't need it, not when she was hunting and there was ambient light around. She cast cursory glances at the two girls in the hallway, vaguely noting in the back of her mind how much the one looked like herself, but did not stop to speak with them. They weren't her target and they weren't a threat, so they were dismissed.
She had discerned that her prey was located in the eastern half of the patient blocks, but she hadn't gotten the exact block narrowed down. Knowing what she did of her prey's behaviors, the odds of it heading out into the openness of the rec field was extremely low. That meant it would come this direction, if it moved from its den at all.
That alone was the problem Falis had with the information she had on hand. If the prey chose not to move this night, she might waste it laying in wait for something that would never appear. Still, she was a patient hunter. For now, she would wait and see.
Taking up a spot on the corner where the hallway she was in and the one her prey may travel along, the hunter went still and blended into the shadows. She kept a keen eye on the hallway in question. Anyone passing by might think she was waiting for someone, and they'd be right.
