[from here]Sheena moved quickly down the hall, hoping that whatever was back in the previous hall didn't follow her. Still, she had to keep tabs on the state of her leg. It was healed, yes, but she could still feel the injury deep in the muscle tissue. Perhaps she would not run into another monster anytime soon

Sora stumbled out into the hallway, feeling as if he'd just made it out of some sort of death trap. It felt like he could breathe better now, trace bits of light were back (or it at least didn't feel like his night vision was even worse than usual), and there was no ominous feeling clinging to him anymore.
Oh, and his flashlight worked. Good thing, since he didn't exactly have a ton of batteries laying around.
The only problem was the strands of her he'd yanked along with him. He could definitely tell that that was what it was now, and he frowned in slight disgust (where had this stuff come from?) as he started to pick it off of him.
He held his breath as he waited for Tsubaki and Hokuto to make it through after him. If they weren't able to, then he was just going to have to go back and get them.

When she'd managed to relax the slightest bit, she asked Tsubaki, "How did you do that? Actually... what did you do?" She recognized a scythe when she saw one, but keeping it in her hair? Or,less likely, forming it out of her hair? That was a new one even on her.

Besides, there was the matter of what Tsubaki had done back there that they needed to address, and Sora was glad when Hokuto took the initiative in asking the other girl about it. He nodded to her to indicate that he was all right before sending her a questioning glance of his own.
He had to admit, he was really curious, and he did his best to hide that as he waited for her answer. He knew now wasn't really the best time to be asking her about what she could do, but it would be pretty weird to just leave that hanging, right?

She also wondered what the girl usually transformed into, but for now she figured she should keep to one question at a time--they did have somewhere to be.

She just nodded, a little too quickly, at the mention of the patio; there was no way she would agree to turn around, or even linger here, without a damn good reason. She trusted Sora, of course, but... "Ready to go if you guys are."

The patio, huh? Sora remembered going there before, but he hadn't known that it led into the kitchen. Still, he trusted Tsubaki, and so he didn't hesitate to lead them further down the hall. He knew that he needed to set these paths to memory so that he didn't have to keep turning to others for help with directions. It was kind of embarrassing.
Either way, he was glad to be putting more distance between them and whatever had been trying to trap them. No one seemed to have taken any lasting damage, which he was grateful for. Hopefully he could give Hitsugaya a good report tomorrow!
Reaching the door at the end of the hall, he opened it and led them out.
