The wait between the previous week and this one had not been all that long, but Jizabel soon found that did not matter much for a place such as Landel's Institute. Breakfast had at least been a nice break from the usual seriousness and he was at least a little relieved that everyone hadn't been injured too badly. However, when the nurse started escorting him back toward the hall he'd been in just last night, rummaging through the offices, he started to wonder just what was going on ( ... )

Tall, blond, blue eyed and, thus far, well-mannered, Jizabel could have easily pictured Robin as part of the aristocracy his father had come from, but not as open a member. No, Robin would have been the sheltered child, groomed in the privacy of the home for reveal much later. Or else a sickly child unable to do much more than be cared for ( ... )

"Oh," he replied, disappointment obvious in his tone, though it was quickly replaced with a smile, albeit a faint one. He hadn't had trouble with the nurses, except maybe a little bit of horseplay here and there, but he was much more concerned with the idea of what the head doctor might decide he needed.

"Yes, yes that answers it just fine," he said, adding in a bit of cheer to cover the other feelings. "I just want to get better and go back home as soon as I can."
