Night 37: West Wing, South Hall 2-B

[from here]The door had taken a bit to get open, but Falis was strong. She paused in the hallway, one hand out a little before her to keep herself from hitting walls again. Crouching down once no immediate threat was detected, Falis put two fingers to the ground and attempted to find any traces of someone's passage, even a bit of remaining ( Read more... )

Back in the hallway she'd just come from, Falis moved a bit quicker being on more familiar ground. Granted, it was barely more familiar, but enough to allow her to be a little less cautious.

This time she continued past the door that lead back to her cell, the way she should have chosen earlier.

There were signs that someone had been through already. Namely, the lock at the end of the hallway had already been broken. Wesker paused, wondering who had been heading this way.

In the end, though, it didn't really matter, so Wesker proceeded on to the next hallway. If there was someone already in the lab, he might be forced to deal with them, otherwise, it was really of no concern to him.

She quickly moved down the next hallway. The door here was already opened. Good. She wouldn't waste any time.

And then she became realized why it felt familiar. She knew three of the people fighting in the next hall. Jiraiya, Kakashi, and Sakura's voices were clear to her, fighting something while also dealing with something else. She shifted her mindset, and moved in.

[from here]There didn’t seem to be anyone in the hallway, and no light to see by aside from Superboy’s flashlight. She was used to sometimes working in the dark, however. As they approached, she could tell the door already appeared to be open. Hadn’t one of the other volunteers she’d talked to said the door was usually locked ( ... )

Well that explained the pillow case Tsubaki had been dragging around. It would save having to cannibalise his clothes again like he had last night if anyone was injured. As much as Kon loved a chance to show off his perfectly toned physique (and would love to see what happened when they had to start tearing up Tsubaki's outfit) they could only get so much from their clothes so it was a good thing Tsubaki had thought to plan ahead like that.

Nodding absently in reply to her explanation, Kon determinedly pushed away the feeling of being exposed which had returned with a vengeance. He'd feel better after he got to punch a few bad guys in the face. He vaguely noted a couple of other prisoners had entered the hall but they kept moving towards the open door at the end so they couldn't be Tsubaki's friends. Not that they'd need the help.

"Through there? Got it." Smirking cockily Kon said, "Now sit back and watch the master of tactile telekinesis in action babe." Striding towards the open door, Superboy swooped into action.

This hallway was occupied, Wesker paused near the door, but continued on his way. If he was careful, he could avoid being spotted by the two of them. Their use of a flashlight suggested that they couldn't see in the dark as well as Wesker could.
