His leg was still stiff and shoulder sore, but otherwise were fine, and he decided that he could probably carry his own leaving his cell tonight without having to be bedridden. He'd spent the afternoon lying on a couch in the Sun room, watching as others had passed by him, but never the person he was looking for... Kuronue hadn't shown up since last night. And Kurama was starting to get really worried.
He knew the bat demon wouldn't just up and disappear without saying anything. Especially after what had been said last night between the two of them. Unless, of course, something had happened to him.
This thought ran ceaselessly through Kurama's mind as he went about his room, getting ready for the night. He'd eaten his fill, pulled the lock picks from his slipper and stuck them in his sleeve, slipped the radio's string over his wrist, and grabbed his flashlight.
The announcement made by both the intercom and the radio wasn't of much concern to him. He didn't recognize any of the names, so it was apparently no one he knew. Unless it was one of the people three or four people he hadn't contacted yet... But the odds were unlikely with how many people there were ( ... )

Still, it had given him time to look around his room. This time, he realized that there was a flashlight under his pillow. The early announcement of the radio had also shown him that he had that as well. Slipping the radio cord over his wrist, he turned on the flashlight and headed out into the hallway.
He had been told not to travel alone... So the first thing to do was find his friend. And since Epros was the only person he even vaguely knew the location of, he headed off in the direction that he had the previous night.
