[From

The halls were still pretty empty, at least from how it sounded. That was good, since it was so dark Sanosuke could barely see his hand in front of his face. But stopping to think about things like that wasn't his thing. Pretty much what he knew how to do was move forward, so that's what he did. Down the hall, then to the right. He wasn't even going to get lost this time.

Same route as always. Sai could have traveled with his eyes closed by now and not gotten lost. In fact, he saved the energy of his flashlight by leaving it off for the time being. Ninja were experts at traveling in the dark anyway.

The hallway opened up a little... ZEX was growing used to this place. He'd spent far too long here, more than enough for someone to lose their mind.
Provided he hadn't already lost it.
His human hands were cold, one still holding onto his light tightly, and his other brushing against the wall every now and then, still hanging onto his fork. Occasionally it became difficult for him to walk, that horrible drowning feeling resurfacing without warning and terrifying enough on a primal level that he had to stop and lean against the wall, catch his breath. He'd been attacked in these hallways once... hadn't he? Somewhere in the dark... hadn't he?
ZEX shook himself and kept moving. He had to focus on where he was going.

M55 should be in the block up this way. Forty rooms per block, wasn't it? It hadn't taken that long at all, so Matt didn't bother to feel like a pansy for not going the other way around. No one to know but him anyway.
Did Landel really have to go for the whole creepy dark hallway bit? Weren't the monsters bad enough? Even though he knew there were only other patients around in this area, he couldn't help but feel like he was being followed or something.

Okita was all too accustomed to empty hallways this early in the night. Most people wouldn't be moving around yet, and those who were already out were generally too quick to stay close to the dorms. Turning, Okita headed into the next hall.
