Renamon blinked, and suddenly she was laying flat in the bed she had originally woke up in. The timing was impeccable, accenting Orihime's explanation perfectly. She just hoped that she hadn't freaked the girl out with her little disappearing act. She quickly shifted out of bed, and grabbed the journal she had wrote notes in last night, and jotted

Moving slowly down the hallway with her regular nurse, the once princess bid farewell to the woman before looking around the cafeteria - it was empty! A strange occurrence, but Kairi didn’t worry about it. She was just early, that was all. She had to talk with someone, so it was better to be early than late!
The only person sitting was a woman with short blonde hair and … oh! Moving towards the woman slowly, Kairi tilted her head to the side and gave the woman a soft smile. “Excuse me, are you Renamon? I’m Kairi.”

And then there was a girl standing by her. Surprised that she hadn't noticed the girl come up to her, Renamon half-stood to welcome her. "Yes, I am. Thank you for meeting with me." She sat back down, and slid her notebook off to the side, focusing her attention on her meeting partner.

Sora’s voice had the once princess turning towards her friend with a bright smile, her hand lifting as she waved. “Hey, Sora! I’m glad you’re okay too.” Turning back towards Renamon, Kairi smiled and gestured between the two. “Sora, this is Renamon. Renamon, this is Sora. It’s okay with me if you sit, because I’m sure you can tell her more information about going to different planets than I can.” Giving the boy a sheepish look, she turned back towards the woman and tilted her head to the side. “Is that okay with you?”

Passing over all small talk entirely, Renamon started in on her topic. "I'm trying to compare others' knowledge of other worlds, and form a theory based on that information. Where I come from there are two worlds, though a friend of mine mentioned that more were out there. We can go back and forth to these worlds that never touch through portals we call doors. These aren't different planets; more two completely separate worlds, that are somehow connected to each other."
She made eye contact with each, and then asked, "What I'm wondering is what defines different worlds to you, and how have you traveled between them?"

Starting in on his food, Sora did his best not to be distracted by what he was eating as he listened to the girl's explanation. She was very matter-of-fact, which was a little intimidating, but what she was saying was definitely interesting.
"Hmm... I know a lot about opening and closing doors, but it sounds different from what you're talking about. The easiest way to get through worlds is by space travel, though sometimes the paths between worlds are closed and you need to open a door to open the paths." There was also the heart of a world to consider, but he probably didn't need to get into that.

Kairi couldn’t help but think that this woman was very intelligent, ‘causing her to think about what she was going to say. “Another way to get around worlds was with portals. I don’t really know how they worked because I can’t control them, but a friend of mine was able to go to and from worlds whenever he wanted to.”
After another pause, Kairi turned towards Sora and smiled. “I know I haven’t seen nearly as many as Sora, but I know that the ones I have been to were all very different. Different clothe styles, different building styles, different everything. Some worlds are simply islands, or some could be large cities. The range of differences is pretty big, right, Sora?”

She listened closely to Renamon’s comment, followed by Sora’s explanation of the keyblade. “The keyblade chooses it’s master, and it chose Sora. I can use one, but … not very well. So I’d rather leave it all to him.” Letting out a soft laugh, Kairi turned towards Sora and winked.
Getting back on topic, the teen tilted her head to the side, her hands resting in her lap as she turned back to Renamon. “What was your world like? Or called?”

The whole traveling without hearts things caused her to pause though, and for a moment the once princess tilted her head to the side as she tried to think. “Hm, you know, I have no clue, actually. Maybe? I know nothing about the Nobodies … I didn’t even know they existed until one showed up on my island.”
Listening to what Renamon called the “digital world” caused Kairi to blink in surprise, curiosity lighting up her eyes. “Beautiful sometimes? Does it chance on a daily basis? And digital … you mean like technology?”

“A changing world?” how strange. The thought made Kairi frown - if her home kept changing, what would she have done? “You must be very strong yourself, then … if you’ve been able to stay alive.” A world where everything changed depending on certain things … what things caused the change? Would such a question be too personal to ask? Deciding it was best to simply ponder, the once princess kept her mouth shut as Sora explained the keyblade.
Despite the conversation, Kairi really had nothing else to say on the matter of the keyblade. She didn’t really know anything about it - after all, she had spent a year on the island without knowing anything that was going on! How was she to explain a weapon she had only held for what felt like a matter of moments?
